Nnamdi Kanu Nosebleeding Profusely, in dire condition In DSS Custody – Lawyer Reveals

 

Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), is currently in poor health according to sources.

According to sources close to the leader of IPOB, his health has continued to deteriorate.

Kanu is alleged to have nosebleeds while in the custody of the Department of State Services, DSS.

At the DSS facility in Abuja, the IPOB leader disclosed this to a member of his legal team, Mandela.

Aloy Ejimakor, Kanu’s Special Counsel, shared the details with Ejes Gist News Nigeria.

 

“My associate, Barr Mandela, met with Onyendu #MNK at the DSS today.” The DSS has transferred a detainee with tuberculosis to MNK’s cell block, This is ominous,” wrote Ejimakor.

Kanu has been in the custody of the DSS since his arrest and extraordinary rendition from Kenya in June 2022.

Meanwhile, Popoola Olasupo, a member of the Ogun State Traffic Compliance and Enforcement Corps, was kidnapped by unknown assailants while en route to his duty post with a colleague.

 

Olasupo was reportedly kidnapped around 6:30 a.m. on Sunday in the Obafemi-Owode Local Government Area of Ogun State near the Eledumare-Fidiwo axis of the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway.

Due to the sensitivity of the matter, a source who requested anonymity confirmed the abduction.

 

Further investigation revealed that police officers and volunteers are currently on the trail of the gunmen.

The source stated that the gunmen, who emerged from the bush and opened fire on the commercial bus in which the official was traveling, abducted only him.

 

Babatunde Akinbiyi, the spokesperson for TRACE, could not be reached for comment at the time this report was filed.

 

Akinbiyi did not answer his mobile phone’s incoming calls and had not responded to text message sent to him.

SP Abimbola Oyeyemi, state police public relations officer, confirmed the incident when contacted.

 

“Our anti-kidnapping team is currently pursuing them. We are scouring the forest, and we are certain that all of them will be apprehended.

 

“Ogun State is not a place where criminals can reside. Either they leave the state or we smoke them out, Oyeyemi said.
