Another Veteran Nollywood Actor Zulu Adigwe Is Dead
The Nigerian movie industry, Nollywood, has been struck by another tragic loss with the passing of yet another esteemed movie icon, Zulu Adigwe.
This heartbreaking news comes less than two weeks after the industry mourned the untimely death of another beloved Nollywood actor, John Paul Odonwodo, popularly known as Junior Pope, and several others who tragically lost their lives in a boat accident two Wednesdays ago while returning from a movie shoot location.
As the Nollywood community and the public were still grappling with the grief from Junior Pope’s, John Okafor’s (Mr. Ibu’s), and Amaechi Muonagor’s recent passing, another devastating blow has struck them with the demise of the veteran actor, Adigwe.
Movie producer, Stanley Nwoko, broke the news of Adigwe’s demise in a social media post on Tuesday.
I regret to announce the passing of a veteran actor, the late Mr. Zulu Adibe. The cause of his death is yet to be determined. Rest in peace, good actor,” he wrote.
Although the official cause of Adigwe’s death has not been disclosed as of the time of this report, there are speculations that the actor had been battling an undisclosed illness for some time before his passing.

Until his demise, the Enugu-born actor and television personality was renowned for his portrayal of elder roles such as chiefs, fathers, fathers-in-law, and traditional rulers in numerous Nollywood productions.
Shared the screen with many other veteran Nollywood stars, including Pete Edochie, Chinwe Ntaluagu, Ngozi Ezeonu, and Patience Ozokwor.
