Partial Solar Eclipse in Nigeria Visible in Oyo and Kano as Nigerians Share Photos.

Nigerians took to social media on Monday, April 8, to share captivating photos and videos of the partial solar eclipse they witnessed. While the rare celestial event was not fully visible across the country, residents in Oyo and Kano states were among those who caught a glimpse of the phenomenon.

According to reports, the National Aeronautics and Space Agency explains that a total solar eclipse occurs when the moon passes between the sun and the earth, temporarily obscuring the sun’s face. Although the eclipse was forecasted to be total in Mexico’s Pacific, Canada, and several US states, some parts of Nigeria experienced it only partially.
