One of the two worshippers abducted at the Celestial Church of Christ, Ori-Omi Parish, Mowe, in the Obafemi Owode Local Government Area of Ogun State, Oladapo Seyifunmi, has regained freedom.

Odutola stated, “We are pleased to inform the public that Oladapo Oluwaseyifunmi, the Shepherd of the Celestial Church who was kidnapped, has been rescued. This success comes as a result of the relentless efforts of the police, hunters, the Vigilante Group of Nigeria (VGN), and Amotekun in combing the forest. He has since been reunited with his family.”

Seyifunmi and Oluboboye Abiola were kidnapped from the church premises on Thursday during an invasion by some gunmen.

On Friday, Odutola confirmed the abduction of the two worshippers via the police’s X handle.
