The Oba of Idofin, Shedrack Obibeni, along with an unidentified man and his wife, were abducted on Monday by armed individuals in the Yagba East Local Government Area of Kogi State. The victims were traveling in a Toyota Corolla car on the Makutu-Idofin Road when they were intercepted by the gunmen.

Abdulrasak Asiru, the chairman of Yagba East Local Government Area, confirmed the incident and notified the police. The authorities are currently working to rescue the victims and apprehend the perpetrators.
