A Nigerian pastor has been killed in Delta State, in what is a truly shocking development.
Pastor Adese Onos, the President General’s representative in the Forum of Presidents-General of Urhobo Kingdoms, as well as his wife and housemaid, were killed in a gas explosion in Delta community.
The explosion happened on Thursday in Orogun, Ughelli North Local Government Area, the country home of Ovie Omo-Agege, the Deputy President of the Senate and the All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate.
However, it was previously reported that the explosion in Orogun injured Pastor Onos, his wife, and their housemaid.
According to reports, they were rushed to the University of Benin Teaching Hospital (UBTH) in Benin City, Edo State, for medical treatment.
However, Pastor Onos died as a result of severe injuries sustained in the gas explosion.
According to reports, the cleric’s wife and housemaid are in critical condition at a tertiary hospital.
According to the most recent reports, while the house maid died on Saturday, the cleric’s wife died on Sunday as a result of injuries sustained in the gas explosion.
Meanwhile, Chief Godwin Notoma, Chairman of the Forum of Presidents General in Urhobo Nation, confirmed the death.
Notoma, who also serves as President General of Udu Kingdom, described the death of Orogun Kingdom’s representative as a terrible loss to the forum.
Similarly, Chief Emmanuel Ememu (JP), President General of Agbarha Warri Kingdom, described Pastor Adese’s death as a rude shock.
He described the Orogun Kingdom’s representative in the Forum of Presidents General in Urhobo Nation as a humble, resourceful, and forthright personality.
“He never claimed to be the president general of Orogun Kingdom in our forum, but he would rather always introduce himself as the representative of the president general of Orogun Kingdom, saying that shows the humility and honesty in him,” Chief Ememu added.
