Oluwatoyin Sakirat Madein has been appointed as the substantive Accountant General of the Federation, AGF, by President Muhammadu Buhari.
This was stated by Muhammed Abdullahi Ahmed, Director of Communications, on Friday in Abuja.
Dr. Folasade Yemi-Esan, the Federation’s Head of Civil Service, who announced the appointment, stated that the new appointment took effect immediately.
“The Federation’s Head of Civil Service, Dr. Folasade Yemi-Esan, CFR, made this known today, Friday 19th May, 2023, in Abuja, adding that the appointment is effective from Thursday, May 18, 2023.” The statement stated.
Oluwatoyin Sakirat is a Nigerian civil servant who is originally from Iperu Remo Ikenne LGA, Ogun State.
She was born on March 7, 1965, and has had a successful career in finance and accounts. Prior to her appointment, she served as the Director of Finance and Accounts in the Office of the Federation’s Head of Civil Service, OHCSF.
