His remarks were in response to the recent Tudun Biri bombing in Kaduna State, where at least 120 lives were tragically lost during the Maulud observance.

During the Maulud celebration in the Igabi Local Government Area, the Nigerian Army mistakenly targeted Tudun Biri, leading to widespread condemnation both locally and internationally.

President Tinubu, in a statement signed by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Ajuri Ngelale, conveyed his condolences to the affected families, emphasizing the importance of addressing the challenges faced by survivors in the North East.

Describing the accidental bombing as “very unfortunate, disturbing, and painful,” Tinubu reiterated his commitment to ensuring that the Federal Government provides support and care to those affected.

He stated, “We are not satisfied yet. We are not satisfied until we reach the end of insecurity in Nigeria,” emphasizing that security concerns extend beyond the battlefield.

Acknowledging the collaboration between security agencies and the Borno State Government, Governor Prof. Babagana Zulum praised the close working relationship, emphasizing their commitment to the Renewed Hope Agenda in combating insecurity nationwide.

He expressed gratitude for President Tinubu’s leadership and pledged continuous support to the Nigerian Armed Forces.

The Shehu of Borno urged the President to focus on infrastructural interventions in insurgency-hit areas, including the revival of the Lake Chad Commission.

He emphasized the need for power projects and job creation initiatives to address youth unemployment, acknowledging the resource limitations faced by Governor Zulum.

In response, President Tinubu commended the Shehu for supporting peace and stability efforts in the region. He pledged to enhance the active engagement of traditional institutions nationwide to promote stability at the grassroots level.
