Reno Omokri Urges Peter Obi to Assist Ailing Actor Mr. Ibu
Renowned Nigerian actor John Okafor, popularly known as Mr. Ibu, recently revealed his health struggles and sought public assistance.
In response, former Presidential aide, Reno Omokri, has called on Peter Obi, the Labour Party’s presidential candidate, to extend a helping hand to the ailing actor.
Omokri pointed out that Mr. Ibu and his daughter were ardent supporters of Peter Obi during the 2023 presidential election campaign.

They actively endorsed and campaigned for Obi, a gesture that gained significant attention online.
Omokri emphasized that given Mr. Ibu’s public endorsement and support, it is now incumbent upon Peter Obi to step in and support the actor during his time of need. He further expressed surprise that Peter Obi did not acknowledge Mr. Ibu’s plight on his recent birthday.
The appeal by Omokri highlights the broader theme of public figures using their influence and resources to assist those in need, particularly when there is a pre-existing connection.
