In a town hall meeting hosted by Channels TV on Sunday, Labour Party vice presidential candidate Datti Baba-Ahmed sobbed openly.
In an interview with Peter Obi, the presidential candidate, Baba-Ahmed claimed that after he was selected as Obi’s running mate, his family started receiving threats.
Datti Baba-Ahmed stated, “When I joined the ticket, I impeached some lies against him (Peter Obi) and especially against my good friend on the APC side on the same level. You can tell when someone believes they are entitled to the position of authority because they have money and power.
“Someone needs to give them a shoulder tap. I did and told him to do it, and I would do three because you know I can.
“However, my efforts to save Nigeria have cost me, my family, and a lot of money. They sent a variety of individuals to find me. If only they had looked at me individually, I would have been much happier.

The LP vice presidential candidate, Datti Baba-Ahmed struggled to hold back tears as he spoke those words.
Femi Fani-Kayode, a former minister who is a member of Asiwaju Bola Tinubu’s campaign team and the candidate for president of the ruling All Progressives Congress, is one of those who has consistently criticized Baba-Ahmed (APC).
