Bandits kill one person, abduct others in Abuja
At the Arab Road Extension 2 in the Kubwa District of the FCT, one Adenike, a serving Youth Corps member, and seven other people were abducted on Tuesday.

In Extension 2 Relocation, along Arab Road in Kubwa, he continued, the bandits moved from Amilomania Street to Toyin Street. He emphasised that one of the victims shot dead was a well-known tailor in the neighbourhood.

He claimed that the bandits might be avoiding the vigilantes posted at the well-known entrance to the street by entering through the hilly area in order to avoid a confrontation.
The FCT PPRO, DSP Josephine Adeh, was unavailable by phone, so she was unable to comment on the incident.
