Former Arsenal defender William Gallas has outlined a key condition for the Gunners to clinch the Premier League (EPL) title this season.
According to Gallas, Arsenal’s captain, Martin Odegaard, must elevate his performance to the level of the club’s legendary figure, Dennis Bergkamp.
Gallas expressed his admiration for Odegaard, citing the player’s significant contributions last season, where he scored 15 goals and provided eight assists in 37 Premier League appearances. However, he pointed out that for Arsenal to secure the title, Odegaard needs to be consistently impactful in every game.

“I really like Martin Odegaard, but I want him to do more, and I think he can do more, not only because he is the captain but because he has the quality,” Gallas remarked in an interview with Lord Ping.

“If Odegaard wants to reach Bergkamp’s level, he has to do more. If you want to win the EPL Title, you need a player like Odegaard on fire,” Gallas concluded.
