Gbajabiamila, David Mark Loses Units To Peter Obi 

 

Femi Gbajabiamila, the Speaker of the Federal House of Representatives, has lost his polling unit to Peter Obi, the presidential candidate of the Labour Party.

In the polling unit located at Elizabeth Fowler Primary School, Unit 14, Ward G2, Masha Surulere, Obi received 89 votes, surpassing Tinubu, who received 59 votes, and Atiku, who received 5 votes.

David Mark loses a PU to Peter Obi.

Senator David Mark, a former Senate president and leader of the Peoples Democratic Party, lost his polling unit to Peter Obi of the Labour Party.

Obi received 178 votes at the VIP Unit One GRA Otukpo, defeating the All Progressives Congress candidate Bola Tinubu, who received 22 votes, and the Peoples Democratic Party candidate Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, who received 18 votes.

 

Peter Obi wins the Anambra Government House PU

The former Governor of Anambra,  Peter Obi defeated Charles Soludo of the All Progressives Grand Alliance within the Anambra Government House polling Unit.

Government House’s polling unit 017, located in the Ag Awka Ward, was the site of all victories for the Labour Party.

Obi received 61 votes to defeat the APGA candidate for president, who received zero votes.

 

Civil servants, government officials, and others populate this particular polling location.

Obi won despite the fact that during a retreat in December 2022, Governor Chukwuma Soludo had instructed civil servants to vote for APGA.

 

Additionally, the Peoples Democratic Party received two votes, while the All Progressives Congress received none.

Senatorial candidate for the LP, Chief Victor Umeh, received 49 votes, while Dozie Nwankwo of APGA received eight, Uche Ekwunife of PDP received five, and APC received one.

 

Lilian Orogbu, 51, candidate of the LP for the House of Representatives; APGA seven; PDP four; APC zero; and one invalid vote.

 

Governor David Umahi of Ebonyi state has reportedly lost his polling unit to Peter Obi and the Labour Party

 

Peter Obi received 75 votes in OnuOfokuru 013, Umunaga ward 10, ahead of Tinubu and Atiku, who each received four votes.

 

The governor also lost his election for senator to the Labour Party, which received 74 votes to Umahi’s meager five.
