Gunmen kill police Officers in Enugu
On Sunday, members of the ‘Unknown Gunmen’ criminal organisation resumed their attacks on security personnel in the southeast, killing two police officers.
Ejes Gist News Nigeria gathered that the assault began around noon today (Sunday March 26, 2023) at a police checkpoint near the University of Nigeria (UNN), Enugu Campus.

The officers on stop-and-search duty were taken by surprise.
This online newspaper has seen a video of two murdered police officers lying in a pool of their own blood.

While the government continues to point accusing fingers at the outlawed Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), the pro-Biafra group has made it clear that security agents in collaboration with some “treasonous governors” in the zone are sponsoring the activities of the group in order to discredit, demonise, and defame IPOB in order to justify the ongoing crackdown on the group, especially the Eastern Security Network (ESN).
