Fear in Delta community as petrol-laden tanker falls, spills content in Udu Local Government Area
There is fear in Delta State’s Udu local government area following a gas truck accident.
The fuel-filled vehicle reportedly overturned on top of the Udu bridge, spilling its contents all over the vicinity.

Road users and entrepreneurs who perform their operations beneath the Udu bridge have started to leave the area due to the fear of an explosion or fire.
The fuel truck reportedly blocked the bridge, preventing vehicles from entering the Sedico area of the town.
Entry has also been limited to those travelling from the Ovwian, Owase, and Jigbale axis following the spill.

What caused the fuel tanker to fall is unknown as of the time writing this report.
Our correspondent on the site reports that there is currently a big traffic bottleneck on top of the bridge.
Currently, some drivers must take detours in order to reach their destinations.
