The Federal Government of Nigeria has officially announced Tuesday, April 9, and Wednesday, April 10, 2024, as public holidays to commemorate the Eid-el-Fitr celebration. This declaration was made by the Minister of Interior, Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, on behalf of the Federal Government.

The announcement, conveyed through a statement by the Ministry’s Permanent Secretary, Aishetu Ndayako, extends congratulations to all Muslims for the successful completion of the fasting period during the holy month of Ramadan.
