Ayodele Fayose’s younger brother, Isaac, has advised Nigerians against supporting the Peoples Democratic Party’s (PDP) presidential candidate Atiku Abubakar.

If Atiku were to win the presidency in 2023, according to Fayose, he would advance the Fulanization agenda in Nigeria.
Fayose claimed in a Facebook post that Atiku would compel Fulani habitation in every local government area of Southern Nigeria.
Fayose claimed that Atiku would appoint Fulani emirs in the southern region of the nation.

President Muhammadu Buhari, the current leader of Nigeria, is Fulani by descent and has been charged with attempting to Islamize and Fulanize the country.
Meanwhile, An ally of Governor Nyesom Wike, Mimiko has rejected his appointment in the PDP Presidential Campaign Council.
Wike and his ally are campaigning for equal representation with the peoples Democratic party, asking for Iyorchia Ayu, the PDP National Chairman to resign from his position for a southerner to take over.
