The alleged mastermind behind the scheme, self-proclaimed youth leader Eragbe Anslem, found himself on the receiving end of physical retribution as he was reportedly beaten and subsequently hospitalized by aggrieved youths in Edo State.

The incident unfolded as the organizers attempted to orchestrate a congress and Governorship Primary Election under the guise of representing the Labour Party, a move that was later revealed to be a fraudulent endeavor.
Reports suggest that the fake Labour Party group, led by Anslem, had engaged in deceptive activities, duping individuals with promises of a legitimate political process. The elaborate scam targeted unsuspecting youths who were lured into participating in what they believed to be authentic party proceedings.
