The press briefing was organized in response to criticism from Catholic Archbishop Emeritus of Abuja, His Eminence, Cardinal John Onaiyekan, who reportedly questioned Tinubu’s presidency until the Presidential Election Petition Tribunal’s verdict.
John Onaiyekan should be arrested
Muhammad Kialani, the Director-General of the support group, demanded the arrest of the cleric, expressing disappointment that John Onaiyekan, who should be advocating for love and peace, was allegedly acting as an agent to destabilize Nigeria. Kialani urged Nigerians to disregard the Christian leader’s statements.

The group condemned Onaiyekan’s remarks, particularly since they believe President Tinubu represents the Yoruba people, and they feel the cleric’s criticism is unfounded, considering the support Tinubu received from Yoruba voters during the election.
The support group emphasized that Nigerians have spoken through their votes during the presidential election on February 25, 2023, and they firmly believe that only God can remove President Tinubu from office. They called on all Nigerians not to support the alleged move to challenge Tinubu’s presidency.
