Tragedy Strikes House of Representatives as Member Isa Dogonyaro Passes Away_
The Nigerian House of Representatives has been thrown into mourning following the sudden death of one of its members, Isa Dogonyaro, representing Garki/Babura federal constituency of Jigawa State.

The sad news was announced by his colleague, Mohammed Bello El-Rufa’i, in a Facebook post on Friday, May 10. El-Rufa’i described Dogonyaro as a “brilliant parliamentarian and an overall good man,” and prayed for his soul to rest in peace.
The deputy spokesperson of the House, Phillip Agbese, confirmed the death, stating that he learned about it through social media and WhatsApp groups of the House of Representatives. According to Agbese, the family has not yet officially communicated with the House, but funeral prayers are scheduled to hold in Abuja later today.
