Kalu Kalu pointed out several critical discrepancies within the documents that raise serious questions:
- Forgery: According to Mr. Kalu, there is compelling evidence that Bola Ahmed Tinubu forged the certificate presented to INEC.
- False Name: The qualifying certificate from South West College to Chicago State University bears a female name, indicating that it does not belong to Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
- Inaccurate Graduation Year: The Chicago State University admission form claims that Bola Ahmed Tinubu attended Government College Lagos and graduated in 1970, even though historical records show that the school was established in 1974.
- Citizenship Contradiction: The same document reveals that the owner of that document is a black American, contradicting Tinubu’s denial of dual citizenship.
- Name Discrepancy: Furthermore, the NYSC certificate Bola Ahmed Tinubu submitted to INEC bears the name Adekunle, while the oral deposition states that the A in Bola A Tinubu is Ahmed.
In response to these shocking allegations, former Vice President Abubakar has taken the matter to the Supreme Court, seeking to overturn President Tinubu’s election victory after the Presidential Election Tribunal dismissed his petition.
Kalu Kalu is confident that the evidence obtained from the academic records will carry significant weight in the Supreme Court. He emphasized that the Supreme Court has previously allowed parties to introduce fresh evidence if certain conditions are met.
In a rallying call, Atiku Abubakar urged other political leaders, including Peter Obi of the Labour Party (LP) and Rabiu Kwankwaso of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP), to join him in the quest for justice and accountability in Nigeria. He stressed the importance of probity, accountability, and justice in the governance of the nation, urging all well-meaning Nigerians to support this campaign for a better Nigeria.
