Bandits Launch Assault on Military Camp in Katsina, Destroy Vehicles and Valuables.
In a recent incident, armed bandits operating in Katsina State targeted a joint military camp situated in Nahuta village, Batsari Local Government Area. The attack occurred at approximately 11:30 pm on Sunday, as the assailants, armed with sophisticated weapons including AK-47 rifles, wreaked havoc by destroying vehicles and valuable assets.

According to a security source associated with the camp, the attack resulted in material damages, but fortunately, there were no casualties among the security personnel. Despite being outnumbered, the security forces successfully repelled the assault, although the bandits managed to set vehicles and property ablaze due to a lack of reinforcement during the encounter.

Taking advantage of the situation, the armed men extended their rampage to Nahuta town, where they burglarized shops, broke into houses, and made away with properties and domestic animals worth millions of naira.
