Tribunal Declares David Umbugadu of PDP Winner of Nasarawa Governorship Election

 

NASARAWA, Nigeria – In a landmark ruling, the governorship election tribunal sitting in Nasarawa has ousted Governor Abdullahi Sule of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and declared David Umbugadu of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) as the rightful winner of the election.

The tribunal’s decision, delivered by two out of the three justices, led by Justice Ezekiel Ajayi, determined that Governor Abdullahi Sule was not validly elected to lead the state.
