President Bola Tinubu has recently made two new appointments to his team, adding to the list of appointments he has made since assuming office just two months ago.

Jubril Gawat, former aide to Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos, revealed that President Tinubu has appointed Olusegun Dada as the special adviser on social media.

Bashir Ahmed, former aide to ex-President Muhammadu Buhari, also disclosed that President Tinubu has appointed Abdulaziz Abdulaziz as the special assistant on print media.

President Tinubu, who resides in Aso Rock, has selected Olusegun Dada, a devoted member of the All Progressives Congress (APC), as his special adviser on social media. Additionally, Abdulaziz Abdulaziz has been appointed as his special assistant on print media.

Dada’s appointment was announced in a congratulatory tweet by Jubril Gawat, the former aide to Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, while Abdulaziz’s appointment was disclosed in a tweet by Bashir Ahmad, a former aide to President Muhammadu Buhari, on Monday, July 10th.

These tweets were shared shortly after President Tinubu’s arrival in Abuja, the capital of Nigeria, on Monday, following his participation in the 63rd Ordinary Session of the Authority of Heads in Guinea Bissau.

During his time in Guinea Bissau, President Tinubu was elected as the chairman of the Economic Community of West African States at the 63rd Ordinary Session of the Authority of Heads.

President Tinubu elected as ECOWAS President

“He was unanimously chosen by West African leaders who gathered in Guinea Bissau for the 63rd Ordinary Session of the Authority of Heads of State on Saturday and Sunday, July 8th and 9th.

Tinubu’s election as President of ECOWAS comes just two months after being sworn in as the 16th Nigerian President, succeeding former President Muhammad Buhari.

President Tinubu is expected to announce his ministers on or before July 28th, which marks his 60th day in office as required by law.

Earlier, Ejes Gist News reported that President Bola Tinubu had submitted the names of the service chiefs to the House of Representatives for confirmation.

In his letter, President Tinubu urged the lawmakers to expedite the confirmation process for the appointment of the service chiefs.

This development comes as the Arewa Consultative Forum calls on the President to engage in negotiations with the bandits who are terrorizing the northwest.”
