What is climate change?

Climate change pertains to the enduring modification of worldwide weather patterns and temperatures, typically instigated by human activities such as the combustion of fossil fuels, deforestation, and industrial procedures. The aforementioned activities emit significant quantities of greenhouse gases, particularly carbon dioxide, which accumulate in the atmosphere and result in the retention of heat, ultimately leading to an increase in the mean global temperature of the Earth.

Effects of climate change

Climate change is a multifaceted and extensive issue that has diverse ecological, financial, and societal consequences. Climate change has been associated with a range of negative outcomes, including elevated sea levels, heightened frequency and intensity of weather phenomena like hurricanes and droughts, diminished biodiversity, compromised access to food and water, and an increased incidence of respiratory illnesses.
