Governor Ayade, who during the APC campaign rally referred to Senator Jarigbe Agom as a “megalomaniac“, and Senator Jarigbe Agom who is up for election with the governor come February 2023, has replied Ayade, advising him to stay humble since his dirty linens were made clean by others including himself, the Senator.

“I am deliberate about my elegance in politics, but I will be offending my late parents if I make a mess of my background and sweep the floor or carry files for a son of a night-soil-man. No sane mind will support a man who has failed abysmally as governor to return to the Senate. The word “megalomaniac’ is closely associated with the man using it to describe others.

“Those whose dirty linens have been washed by our collective resolve should stay humble. I challenge Governor Ayade to say one thing he has done successfully in 12 years, including 8 years as governor in comparison to what I have done for my people as a legislator. He should stop being vociferous because, in an ideal society, he will only pass for a jester.
