DJ Kaywise Breaks Silence on Alleged Kidnap Accusation, Apologizes to Fiance and Family
Nigerian disc jockey and record producer, Ayorinde Kehinde Okiki, popularly known as DJ Kaywise, has addressed the recent controversy surrounding him and his fiance, Nenny B, who accused his twin brother of attempting to kidnap her.
In a statement posted on his Instagram page, DJ Kaywise expressed his disappointment with the situation and corroborated Nenny B’s version of events.
The saga began when media personality Nnema Egwueke, also known as Benny B, accused DJ Kaywise’s twin brother of plotting to kidnap her.
In a detailed post on her Instagram, Nenny B narrated how a group of ex-employees, who were previously sacked by DJ Kaywise in 2021, allegedly planned to kidnap her.

She claimed that on the intended day of the kidnapping, DJ Kaywise himself arrived at her house to pick up a delivery meant for her, thwarting their plans.
Nenny B shared a video showing three men, purportedly ex-employees of DJ Kaywise, waiting outside her house.
She alleged that these men had been arrested in 2021 after making a threatening call to her, but were subsequently released after persuasion from DJ Kaywise’s parents.
In his response, DJ Kaywise acknowledged the involvement of his twin brother in the situation and expressed his disappointment.

He revealed his belief that the visit to Nenny B’s house was not well-intentioned and could have put her life at risk.
He stated that if his family were genuinely concerned about his well-being, they could have engaged with the police earlier, rather than resorting to the alleged kidnapping plan.
Furthermore, DJ Kaywise disassociated himself from the individuals seen in the CCTV footage, stating that they do not represent him or his company.
He emphasized that he had provided Nenny B with evidence to refute any claims of his family having an issue with her. The DJ apologized to Nenny B, her family, and well-wishers for the situation, promising that such an incident would not occur again.

DJ Kaywise also assured that he would cooperate fully with the police to get to the bottom of the matter. He reiterated his commitment to resolving the issue and maintaining transparency throughout the process.
