The Department of State Services (DSS) has denied conducting raids on the offices of the Independent Corrupt Practices and other Related Offences Commission (ICPC) and Code of Conduct Bureau (CCB).
According to the DSS, no documents were taken from these government agencies, contrary to some media reports (excluding Ejes Gist News ). The DSS spokesperson, Peter Afunanya, stated in a Sunday press release that the viral claims of the Service monitoring judges on the Presidential Election Petition Tribunal were untrue.

The DSS dismissed the allegations as baseless and lacking credibility, originating solely from the imaginations of their creators. The statement clarified that the DSS did not carry out any operations or confiscate files from the ICPC and CCB.
Additionally, both agencies have independently refuted the news through widely circulated press statements. The DSS deemed the reports of former Governor Abdul’aziz Yari being invited by the DSS for ignoring a phone call from President Bola Tinubu as “laughable” and stated that Yari knows the reason for his invitation.
The Service affirmed its commitment to remaining focused, resilient, patriotic, and professional in its operations, urging the public to disregard these misleading stories, which aim to create discord in the country and undermine the leadership of the DSS.
