The Minister of Primary, Secondary, and Technical Education (EPST) in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) Tony Mwaba Kazadi., has made a shocking admission.
He admitted impregnating his Deputy Minister, Aminata Namasia, and described the pregnancy as “accidental.”

Despite being married, Kazadi and Namasia developed feelings for one another while working together in the DRC education ministry, according to local reports.

A DRC journalist, Lungila John, took to Twitter to reveal the affair between the two officials that resulted in the pregnancy of the deputy education minister.
Citizens of the DRC have harshly criticised the pair, accusing them of bad behaviour and immorality.

Archy Lema, a DRC citizen and Twitter user, stated that the DRC is a country of shame. She stated that Namasia has no education to offer any young woman in the nation.
If politicians in the country, particularly Kazadi and Namasia, wanted to be referred to as “excellencies” or “honorables,” their conduct should have been more excellent and honourable, especially given their popularity and wealth in comparison to other Congolese.
On April 12, 2021 that Namasia was appointed National Deputy Minister of Primary, Secondary, and Technical Education in the Democratic Republic of Congo under the cabinet of Jean-Michel Sama Lukonde.
