She stated, “Before the presidential election results were announced, I publicly stated that if Bola Tinubu won, I would renounce my Nigerian citizenship, and I have my reasons.

“When he won, people contacted me to assure me that he would not do anything negative. However, I am in danger due to the current circumstance. Because he is not at peace with me, I have been ostracised and humiliated in settings where I ought to be honoured.

“I will not possess a Nigerian passport as long as Bola Tinubu serves as president. I am praying to God for the nation to which I can relocate. I am not visiting the United States or the United Kingdom. I desire a simple residence where I can spend the rest of my life.

“I do not know where I am going, but I have already given this information to the attorneys so they can determine where I can obtain citizenship. I am diligently working on it before May 29.”

Because I cannot see all my sacrifices, I am ashamed to call myself a public servant. Moreover, some individuals will boast of their political status as eminence. Excellence over such a nation?

“Those who have faithfully served their country are dissatisfied with the current state of affairs. There are so many hungry people on the streets, and nothing that was supposed to be in place has been put in place.”

She stated that those dissatisfied with the election results had every right to challenge the procedure in court.

She also scoffed at the situation in which those who contested the electioneering process were threatened with treason, stating that it would only make matters worse.
