Former Chelsea Attacker Chris Sutton Expresses Concerns Over Manchester United’s New Signing Rasmus Hojlund

“Looking at his record, it is not like Haaland signing for Manchester City, where he signed for them with a real goalscoring pedigree,” Sutton expressed during an episode of Mail Sport’s podcast.
He went on to dissect Hojlund’s football journey, stating, “He was at Copenhagen, went to Austria with Sturm Graz for a season, was not overly prolific there, then Atalanta and he did not get into double figures.
Nine goals in 30-odd games. That is not an incredible strike rate as such.”
Sutton’s reservations seem to center around the immense pressure and scrutiny that accompanies playing for a high-profile club like Manchester United.
He implied that Hojlund’s moderate scoring record could hinder his transition to the Red Devils, particularly if he encounters injuries or struggles to find his form.
