Former Ekiti state governor Segun Oni dismissed reports that he was working for the ruling All Progressive Congress presidential candidate, Bola Tinubu.

Oni, a Social Democrat, was the SDP candidate in the last election, echoing the comments of Oyetunde Ojo and South West Agenda, SWAGA.

 

He dismissed suggestions that he was working with former governor Ayo Fayose to realize Tinubu’s ambitions.

Oni called it “a very dishonest statement and a cheap lie”, explaining that he could not work for the former Lagos governor.

The statement said Tinubu’s footprint was “very evident in the last rigged Ekiti gubernatorial election”.
