According to Commissioner Usman, NYSC members serving in Taraba State schools will receive an additional ten thousand naira as part of their monthly allowance. In addition to this, they will receive a one-time payment of fifty thousand naira as a medical allowance. To further support their well-being, an accommodation allowance of twenty-five thousand naira per term will be granted, summing up to a substantial seventy-five thousand naira for three terms.

However, the government’s commitment to education doesn’t stop there. Exceptional corps members who distinguish themselves during their service in schools will be presented with automatic employment opportunities, further motivating them to excel in their roles.

Starting from this term, an ICT-based registration system will be implemented for teachers and both new and returning students. This innovation ensures that students are duly registered, guaranteeing the provision of essential school materials upon their arrival.

Furthermore, the government is committed to supporting students in their pursuit of education. Uniforms, shoes, socks, and books will be made available by January to aid students in their educational journey. In the upcoming year, the State Government will also cover the examination fees for all SS3 students, enabling them to sit for both WAEC and NECO examinations.

Outstanding students will not be left behind, as they will be eligible for sponsorship and scholarships, ensuring that the brightest minds have access to quality education.
