“He was not seen anywhere in Mecca” – Sowore speaks on Tinubu’s whereabouts
Omoyele Sowore, a presidential candidate in the 2019 and 2023 elections, stated on Saturday that Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the incoming president of Nigeria, was not recently spotted in Mecca, Saudi Arabia, contrary to claims made by some of his handlers.
Recall that in March 2023, following the presidential election, the incoming president travelled to Europe, specifically Paris, France. He was anticipated to visit Saudi Arabia prior to returning to Nigeria.

Felix Morka, a spokesman for the All Progressives Congress (APC), stated earlier this week that Tinubu is only out of Nigeria “to rest” despite claims by some blogs that the incoming president, 71, has travelled abroad for medical treatment.
Commenting on Tinubu’s whereabouts, Sowore wrote: “Bola Tinubu @officialABAT wasn’t seen anywhere in Mecca (although some of his handlers claimed he briefly travelled there), but he was never with @mbuhari, and his tightly controlled apparitions in France are largely controlled but unverifiable sightings.
