INEC Chairman has obtained a new citizenship, according to LP Vice presidential candidate, Datti Baba
The Vice presidential candidate of the Labour Party during the just concluded presidential election, Yusuf Datti Baba-Ahmed on Monday, revealed that the Chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), Prof. Mahmood Yakubu has obtained citizenship in a country called LATVIA.
According to him, “INEC chairman has obtained a new citizenship in a country called LATVIA. He will be living in the capital city of the country.”

The chairman of the INEC is facing backlash as a result of the outcome of February 25 presidential election which was described as a failed exercise to meet the expectations of Nigerians.
