Fire Guts NYSC headquarters in Abuja Office
On Friday, there was a fire that broke out inside the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) headquarters in Abuja.
The commission reported that no lives were lost in the unexpected fire outbreak that occurred in the building because the blaze was contained to the third level of the six-story structure.
This information was provided in a statement that was released on Friday by Eddy Megwa, who serves as the Director of Press Relations.
When the event took place at approximately 7.30 in the morning, he stated that the fire was quickly extinguished by the Federal Fire Service Department as well as the Federal Capital Territory Fire Department.

In addition, according to Megwa, the Planning, Research and Statistics Department as well as the General Service Department are located on the floor that was damaged, however the fire only spread to one specific room that contained electronic devices.
He stated, “Thank goodness, nobody was hurt, and we were able to safely evacuate and secure all of the important documents in a timely manner.”
