APC PCC Member, Abdulrazaq Gidado Abubakar, Others Dump Tinubu
All Progressives Congress presidential candidate Bola Tinubu has lost a member of his presidential campaign team to the Peoples Democratic Party.
Alhaji Abdulrazaq Gidado Abubakar, a member of the Stakeholders Relations for Tinubu/Shettima Presidential Campaign Council, defected and joined the PDP on Friday.

Abubakar stated that he decided to leave the APC due to the way the state chapter of the party is managed and the apparent egotism of some party members who are only concerned with their own interests.
On Thursday, the governor of Taraba state, Darius Ishaku, officially welcomed him into the PDP. He disclosed that he had left the All Progressives Congress (APC) along with his over 20,000 supporters.
“I have decided to withdraw from APC membership.

“I am moving with my structure of more than 100 people per ward, totaling more than 20,000 party members who have decided to follow me voluntarily out of loyalty and frustration with recent developments in our party.”
“Yesterday, February 16, 2023, His Excellency the Executive Governor of Taraba state, Architect Darius Ishaku, officially welcomed me to the PDP. I am exhausted by the current state of the APC at the state level. The key players are all self-centered and disregard the party. Nobody is willing to restore order. It’s either oneself or no one else,” he stated.
