Caroline Celico, the ex-wife of AC Milan and Brazil legend Kaka, has opened up about the reason behind their divorce, citing Kaka’s perceived perfection as a factor.
In an interview, Celico disclosed that despite their ten-year marriage and two children, she felt that something was lacking in their relationship due to Kaka’s flawless demeanor.
The couple, who were childhood sweethearts, decided to part ways in 2015. Celico emphasized that Kaka never betrayed her, but rather, she struggled with the idea of being with someone she deemed “too perfect.”
Kaka, a former star at both AC Milan and Real Madrid, won the prestigious Ballon d’Or during his time with AC Milan.
Both Celico and Kaka have since remarried, with Celico expressing gratitude for their past together while acknowledging that they ultimately needed to go their separate ways.
