Barely 24 hours after cross river Gov’s order to criminals, Kidnappers dare Gov Otu whisk away Top lecturer, health worker
Dr. Iniudo George-Ukpong, a lecturer in the Faculty of Biological Sciences at the University of Cross River State (UNICROSS), has been kidnapped by armed men.
This occurred less than twenty-four hours after Governor Bassey Otu issued an ultimatum to criminals to either repent and take advantage of his amnesty, or be caught.

Barbara Brownson, a member of the University of Calabar Teaching Hospital (UCTH) staff, was also abducted by the kidnappers.
Additionally, they abducted Mike Njagu in Calabar on Friday.
Associate Professor of environmental and public health parasitology Iniudo was abducted on his way home from the office, according to family sources.

Irene Ugbo, the state’s police public relation officer, otherwise known as the spokesperson of the police stated that she would speak later.
