APC spokesman, Festus Keyamo petitions DSS, demands Peter Obi’s arrest
Festus Keyamo, a spokesperson for the All Progressives Congress (APC) Presidential Campaign Council, has petitioned the Department of State Services (DSS) to arrest Peter Obi, the Labour Party’s candidate in the recently concluded presidential election.
Keyamo, the current Minister of State for Labour and Employment, requested that Obi and his running mate, Datti Ahmed, be arrested and prosecuted for alleged “incitement and treasonous felony.”

In the petition dated March 23 and addressed to the Director General of State Services, the minister stated that in a post-election period such as this, it is necessary to calm frayed nerves, reduce the temperature, and initiate the healing process.
Keyamo noted that since the announcement of the presidential election results, Obi and his running mate have been hopping from media house to media house making incendiary comments and claims regarding the Independent National Electoral Commission’s (INEC) declaration of President-elect Bola Tinubu.
