1. JAMB Sets Minimum Admission cut-off mark at 140 for Universities, See details

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has established the cut-off mark for admissions into universities across the country for the 2022/23 academic year to be 140 and above. This announcement was made by Prof. Is-haq Oloyede, the Registrar of the board, during a presentation at the 2023 Policy Meeting on Admissions to Tertiary Institutions held in Abuja on Saturday.

On Saturday, President of the Senate, Godswill Akpabio, expressed his commitment to partnering with the administration led by President Bola Tinubu in order to bring about policy changes that will facilitate the progress and development of the country. He expressed gratitude to the President, the National Working Committee (NWC) of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), and his fellow senators for their support in his election as Senate President.
