What are the Nigerian newspapers headlines today saying?

 

1) The National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, Mr. Iyorchia Ayu, will lead a protest march to the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, headquarters in Abuja on Monday (today) in response to the results of the February 25 presidential election.

2) The scarcity of Premium Motor Spirit, also known as petrol, has returned to Abuja, Nasarawa, Niger, Kaduna, and other states, resulting in long lines at the few petrol stations that dispensed the product. Since October of last year, a number of oil marketers’ trucks have been waiting in line at depots, claiming that the commodity was difficult to obtain.

8) Geoffrey Onyeama, minister of foreign affairs, has called for the inclusion of Nigeria and the African Union (AU) in the G20. 9) SP Kazeem Kareem, the Divisional Police Officer in charge of the Maru Local Government Area of the state, and Inspector Rabiu Umar were murdered by gunmen on Saturday, according to the Zamfara State Police Command. SP Mohammed Shehu, the command’s spokesman, said in a statement that the Commissioner of Police, Kolo Yusuf, prayed to Almighty Allah for the repose of the deceased.

10) On Sunday, an unidentified Mopol 8 Jos, Plateau State police officer allegedly shot a young man, according to reports. The victim, identified as Tudun Wada resident Nyommena Badapba, was shot in the shoulder shortly after an argument with the police officer.
