Peter Obi breaks silence on new Naira notes, Tells Nigerians what to do

Peter Obi has told Nigerians to bear with the CBN and the federal government on the new Naira notes palaver. 

Peter Obi, the Labour Party (LP) presidential candidate, has urged Nigerians to endure the current pain and inconvenience caused by the redesign of the Naira.

If the policy is sustained, it will have significant long-term economic and social benefits, he said.

Obi stated on his verified social media accounts, “The redesign of the Nigerian currency is not unique.” There are some inconveniences and pain associated with this activity, but its long-term economic and social benefits are substantial.
