Why Tinubu should fund Peter Obi’s campaign – Soludo
Charles Soludo, the governor of Anambra State, has advised Bola Tinubu, the APC’s presidential candidate, to support Peter Obi of the Labour Party in his campaign.

Soludo claims that Obi is paving the way for Tinubu to win in 2023 and that he should not be taken seriously.

In a lengthy paper published on Monday, he made this claim.
As a “home boy,” Peter Obi will undoubtedly receive some votes and possibly win in the state of Anambra, Soludo said.

Anambra, however, is not Nigeria. I can even run a campaign for him, but that will not make much of a difference.
He was on track to receive 25% in five states as of August of this year, according to internal state-by-state polling that I have access to.
Recent polling indicates that the number of states is now down to four and dropping. Not even in Lagos State, the alleged epicentre of urban youth, where the Labour Party was unable to find candidates to run for the Senate or the House of Representatives.

The polls also indicate that he is primarily costing the PDP votes. In fact, if I were Asiwaju Tinubu, I would give Peter Obi money to run one of his campaign’s departments because Obi is paving the way for Tinubu’s victory by subtly undermining PDP.
