Appoints Lanre Issa-Onilu as Director-General of National Orientation Agency (NOA)

In a recent development, President Bola Tinubu has appointed Lanre Issa-Onilu, the former National Publicity Secretary of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), as the Director-General of the National Orientation Agency (NOA).

This appointment was disclosed through a statement issued by the Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Ajuri Ngelale. Issa-Onilu’s designation is part of a broader announcement that includes seven other appointments for agencies and parastatals under the Federal Ministry of Information and National Orientation.

Salihu Abdulhamid Dembos was appointed as the Director-General/CEO of the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA), while Muhammed Bulama was designated to head the Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria (FRCN). Charles Ebuebu has taken on the role of Director-General/CEO of the National Broadcasting Commission (NBC), and Jibrin Baba Ndace has been appointed as Director-General/CEO of the Voice of Nigeria (VON).

Additionally, Lekan Fadolapo will be heading the Advertising Regulatory Council of Nigeria (ARCON), Ali Muhammed Ali will serve as Director/CEO of the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), and the Nigerian Press Council (NPC) will be under the leadership of Dili Ezughah.
