Rampaging Gunmen Set Ablaze High Court, Judicial Offices In Imo State
On Sunday night, unidentified gunmen burned down the Oguta High court in the Oguta Local Government Area of Imo State.
It was determined that the attackers arrived at 11:30 p.m. and attacked the facility within the local government’s headquarters.

According to a source who requested anonymity for security reasons, the Magistrate’s court registry, Appeal court record office, file room, secretary to the high court judge’s office, office of the high court bailiff, and chamber of the high court judge were destroyed by fire.
Ofili Ijioma, the sole administrator of the Oguta LGA, stated that the arson had been reported to security personnel.
He assured our correspondent that the identities of the attackers would be uncovered through investigations.

Ten days prior, the judge in charge of the Ejemekwuru customary court, Nnaemeka Ugboma, was assassinated while presiding over a court session.
Henry Okoye, the state police spokesperson, stated that he was still awaiting information from the area when contacted.
