Tinubu angry with INEC chairman for not getting 25% votes in FCT

Bola Tinubu is slated to assume the presidency on May 29, which is just a few weeks away. His path to victory, which began with the party primaries, has been marred by scandal and what some have dubbed “dirty politics,” though.

Despite being declared the winner of the presidential election on February 25, Tinubu’s victory has been heavily disputed.

There has been a lot of controversy surrounding the results of the election, with many claiming that there were irregularities and fraudulent activities that took place during the voting process. As a result, the legitimacy of the election and the declared winner have been called into question, and many people are demanding an investigation into the matter to ensure that the election was fair and free of any wrongdoing.

Despite the controversy, Bola Tinubu has continued to maintain that he won the election fairly and squarely.

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) conducted an election with the backing of the Buhari administration, shocking many voters. They questioned why INEC, which had assured Nigerians and the rest of the world that it was ready to hold one of the best elections in country history, actually did the complete opposite. Naturally, INEC advised those taking revenge to file a lawsuit.

If the Tribunal rules in favour of justice in this case, the Labour Party and Obi anticipate that Tinubu’s victory will be overturned. This has alarmed the APC, and new reports assert that INEC knowingly neglected to falsify FCT results in order to give Tinubu the 25% threshold required by the constitution in order to thwart Tinubu’s chances of actually becoming the next president.

According to a source, there is a lot of finger-pointing going on both within the APC and between Tinubu and the Aso Rock cabal regarding Tinubu’s failure to win 25% of the vote in the FCT.

Mahmoud Yakubu, the chairman of INEC, and some Bola Ahmed Tinubu proxies are currently engaged in a full-blown cold war. They think Mahmoud Yakubu deliberately discredited them by not allowing Bola Tinubu to win 25% of the vote in Abuja. They also think Bola Ahmed Tinubu was the victim of a trap set by individuals in the Aso Rock Villa who are opposed to his becoming president of Nigeria.

“Bola Tinubu has approached some individuals on a number of occasions to challenge the 25% requirement, but regrettably, it cannot be completely wished away. Now that the evidence is in front of us demonstrating that Bola Tinubu did not receive the 25% of the FCT required by our constitution, they have realised why Peter Gregory Obi’s vice president Ahmed Baba Datti was so bold in demanding that no swearing-in take place.

By ensuring Bola Tinubu failed to reach the 25% threshold in Abuja, they believe Mahmoud Yakubu intentionally threw them under the bus.
