Nigerian Female Airforce Officer ‘commits’ suicide.
A female Master Warrant Officer (MWO) serving with the Logistics Command of the Nigerian Air Force (NAF) in Lagos has tragically taken her own life within the barracks.
The deceased, identified as George, was discovered lifeless in her residence at Block T5, Flat 8 in Sam Ethnam Base, Ikeja. Medical personnel from the NAF hospital subsequently carried out the necessary procedures to evacuate the body.

Commodore Ayodele Famuyiwa, the spokesperson for the NAF, confirmed the distressing incident to The Nation. He also revealed that an investigative committee has been established to delve into the circumstances surrounding the incident.

Sources indicate that the MWO had been grappling with a unique personal situation and ultimately chose to end her life by hanging herself. The incident occurred around 2pm on Saturday.
