A female Master Warrant Officer (MWO) serving with the Nigerian Air Force (NAF) in Lagos has tragically died by suicide in the barracks. The deceased, identified as George, was found lifeless in her residence at Sam Ethnam Base in Ikeja. Medical personnel from the NAF hospital were called in to handle the situation.

Commodore Ayodele Famuyiwa, the spokesperson for the NAF, confirmed the incident and announced the formation of an investigative committee to determine the circumstances surrounding the tragedy.
