The government of the (UK) has stated that it has no interest in the upcoming general elections in Nigeria, which will determine who will become the country’s next president.

This information was made public on Wednesday by , the British High Commissioner to Nigeria.

It came after a meeting in Abuja with the All Progressives Congress’ National Working Committee, which was held behind closed doors.

Mrs. Liang stated that the United Kingdom, UK will cooperate with whoever emerged victorious from the election.

The High Commissioner also voiced her trust in Nigeria’s democracy and the president’s resolve to ensuring that elections are held in an environment that is both free and secure.
